About THE MUSHROOM PALADIN

From the mist-soaked forests of the Pacific Northwest, I witnessed the modern mythology of America unfold in real time. I grew up in the shadow of moral panic—the Ingram “Satanic Panic” hysteria, the War on Drugs, and a culture torn between fear and liberation. I watched the world swing wildly between extremes as Grunge erupted from garages and basements, giving voice to a generation caught between despair and awakening.

In 2012, life carried me into a very different frontier: the dawn of hyperscale cloud computing and artificial intelligence. For over a decade, I have worked inside one of the largest and most respected technology companies in the world, helping build the global infrastructure that now powers the AI revolution. During that time, I drifted into a quiet corporate agnosticism—a spiritual sleepwalk shared by millions in the modern world.

Then a life-altering event shattered that inertia. In the depths of crisis, I encountered the healing and consciousness-expanding miracle of the psychedelic mushroom. What began as personal recovery opened into a direct and overwhelming experience of the sacred—a moment that ended my lifelong doubt. I went in a sleeping corporate agnostic; I came out understanding, without question, that God is real and available to all of us. Not a doctrine or a dogma, but the ultimate living presence woven through nature, mind, and the fabric of existence itself.

This unique fusion of experience—the cultural chaos of my upbringing, the technological world I help build, and a spiritual awakening ignited by entheogenic healing—became the foundation of Mushroom Paladin.

Here, I explore the convergence of AI, spirituality, psychedelics, myth, and human evolution. I write from the vantage point of someone who has walked through pain and growth,  the circuitry of the digital world and the visionary landscapes of the inner world.
